Body Parts

Page history last edited by Kris Buchanan 14 years ago

Mrs. Buchanan's class learned that all insects have three body parts.  The body parts are the head, thorax, and abdomen.  Insects also have six legs and two antennae.  We made models of insects to practice learning the parts.

We used paint and folded our paper to explore how spots on a ladybug are symmetrical. Then we labeled the parts of the ladybug.

Your models of body parts are wonderful! We can't wait to see what else you are learning.

Your ladybugs are so cool! I like how you used paint to make the spots. Maybe we can do this project in our class.
